Friends Dashboard is a service that helps you keep track of your friends' birthdays and hangout plans. It sends reminders through browser notifications and emails.

Browser notifications allow the browser to interact with your computer's operating system and your computer's notifications. For example if your computer's battery is low, your computer will bring up a notification that your battery is low. Browser Notifications work in the same way. So now if your friend's birthday is today you will get a notification just like you would get if your battery is low.

Anyone who signs up is on the free tier and gets 50 free browser notifications per month. Paying tier is Member tier for 4.99 dollars a month, and they get unlimited browser notifications and daily emails if there are birthdays and hangouts to be notified.

You can add up to 250 friends as of right now

FriendsDashboard works on all browsers, but browser notifications may not work the same on all browsers. Google Chrome, and chrome based browsers like Edge and Brave work. Safari also works. Firefox somewhat works. If Firefox is closed or the application is not running it will not receive browser notifications. With Google Chrome based browsers, even if the application is closed it should hold onto those notifications.

If you are on MacOS and on Windows we recommend putting on Do Not Disturb. If Do Not Disturb is enabled your notifications will go directly to you notification center and will not have any pop ups or sound made.

Our database provider encrypts your information on disk, preventing malicous actors from getting your data.

You will stop getting browser notifications. Under your dashboard it should tell you how much notifications to expect in the current month.

For best perfomance we recommend keeping your browser application open. You don't have to be on the website to receive notifications. But if your browser is open and activated, your computer will receive the notifications. If your browser is off or the application is turned off, the notifications should be on queue until you open the browser again. Besides this we recommend checking in your account page every week or so that your browser regenerates your browser token.

If you subscribe to the member plan you should be getting daily emails if there are to be friends to be notified about. If there are friend's birthdays or hangouts to be reminded of you will get an email at the specified notification time and time zone you put.

If you are not satisfied with the Member plan, email zeepsmedia@gmail.com and ask for a refund. Make sure you send the email with the account you signed up with. If the request is in goodwill and is made in a timely manner (within 10 days of purchasing) we will grant the refund.
